Editorial Review: Product Description
This bell fits into the end of almost any handlebar: flat bars, mountain bike bars, drop bars. It will also fit into many bar ends. It could even fit into the end of a ski pole or walking stick. To operate it, all you need to do is place the edge of your palm on the bell and move a little forward or backward. It has a nice, resonant double ring. The Bar End Incredibell weighs 1.8 ounces.

Summary: A good bell for drop bars.

Comment: After purchasing an Incredibell Duet and learning that the clamp was too small (and not adjustable) to fit onto my road bike handlebars, I exchanged it for this Bar End version instead. Overall, I like this bell because it's inconspicuous and located in a spot that's convenient to reach. However, the plastic bits have a cheapish feel and the bell has an annoying habit of ringing by itself--caused by the internal strike being jostled when riding over slight bumps in the pavement. Regardless, the bell sounds great and works well.

Summary: Convenient Bell
Date: 2008-07-04 -
Comment: I commute on a multi-use path and got tired of calling out when passing joggers, walkers, etc. This bell is conveniently positioned at the end of my bar drop and all I do is just give a twist. The bell produces a loud distinct double ring to warn people of my approach - simple - no more shouting "on your left".

Summary: Not for road bikes
Date: 2007-04-13 -
Comment: Fell apart with in hours. The vibration of a raod bike is just too much for this little bell. I had it in the end of a pair of carbon drop bars. Had to use electrical tape to get it to fit tight enough. Even then it ended up just falling apart in about 50 miles of riding.
