Summary: I can't slam this pedal for me picking dual sided pedal.

Comment: I use these on my bike and I can clip in quite easily now. Once I clip my first foot in, I normally spin the pedal and then clip before I start, then if the second foot doesn't snap in I just lift my foot up for half a revolution and I am on my way.
I like the versatility of the pedal and my wife is now going to get them after we went on vacation and I was able to ride down the pool at the resort and she needed to put her shoes on and clip in to ride.
I would recommend these if you want something versatile on one bike.

Comment: these pedals work great. The only problem is flipping the pedal over to lock your shoe into place. But I do say they are great pedals for the price. I am personally glad I picked them up.

Summary: intermediate pedal

Comment: If you're like me, and don't just ride your bike on dirt trails, but take your chances in the concrete jungle, you need a pedal like this one. Everyone who rides in the city knows, that you don't always get to pick and choose where and when you're going to stop. Cars pull out in front of you. Doors open etc. That sickening feeling you get, when you come to an abrupt stop, feet locked into clips, and the lovely helpless fall to the ground as you try to twist your feet out in a split second. Sure, some of us have amazing reflexes, and can get out of any predicament, but mere mortals rely on a pedal with reversable surfaces. That's the compromise with this pedal. It's more difficult to clip in, but helps reduce those ugly falls on pavement.
