Editorial Review: Product Description
The EOS Bike is optimal for both localized needs and spotting at a distance. Both handlebar mount and helmet attachments included. The combination of a Luxeon/1 watt LED and the optimized lens/collimator maximizes the beam by balance long throw with flood light. Each level provides true current regulation ensuring that the EOS will remain at constant brightness as long as the batteries have sufficient voltage. Uses high grade materials to ensure durability and strong resistance to water/weather/environment conditions. Full power: 2 hours constant brightness/6.g hours run time. Medium power: 9.5 hours constant brightness/12.5 hours run time. Low power: 44 hours constant brightness/60 hours run time. 3AAA batteries included.

Summary: light lite

Comment: good little light, low weight, can be used in conjunction with a good bar mounted light for night rides, not enough on its own for cross country riding

Summary: Bright, self contained helmet light.
Date: 2008-08-16 -
Comment: I bought this to use as a supplement to my handle bar mounted light. I wanted to be able to read road signs and to look into those dark spots along the road that my bar light does not illuminate. I really like this.. I can fix flats (or the bike), read cue sheets, road signs, and if the bar light dies, your not left in the dark. The Eos is actually bright enough to get you home on it's own. In the summer months I carry it in my seat bag as a "just-in-case" light if I get stuck riding home after dark. I really like the fact that this lamp is self contained and does not have any wires or external battery packs. So no extra clutter to deal with.
The included hardware is good, but I only use this as a helmet light. So I have no experience with the handle bar mount.
It's a good headlamp... don't hesitate to try one.

Summary: Great Light
Date: 2008-07-26 -
Comment: The Princeton Tech EOS is a great light for night riding. I mostly ride on lesser traveled rural roads. I use it as a helmet light and couple it with the Blackburn Voyager 4.0 for my headlight. The two work very well together. However, had I known ahead of time just how well the EOS worked, I would have purchased two EOS's, one for my helmet and one for my handlebar headlight.

Summary: Does the job
Date: 2008-04-22 -
Comment: I use this as a helmet light to read maps, directions, and street signs and to act as a backup to my main light on long rides. The helmet mount is easy to use and secure and lets me adjust the angle. I use the light on the lowest power level which gives more than enough light for my auxiliary uses.

Summary: Good value for casual use
Date: 2007-12-21 -
Comment: My wife and I ride in the late afternoon and sometimes into the evening around our neighborhood and surrounding area. The vehicle traffic is moderate to high and there are also some low light areas we travel through. I like the sturdy construction and compactness of the light and it is also very easy to change out the batteries. The three brightness levels give enough light variations to be useful in all situations although I don't know if I would use the blinking feature. We primarily use the medium setting as it is good for being visible to traffic and it also puts out enough light to see where we are going. The light is not expensive, but it is not one of the cheaper lights on the market either. I believe it is a good value for the casual user
